The Coca-Cola Foundation awarded USD8.8 million in grants to 66 community organizations worldwide during the second quarter of 2013.
Of that total, USD120,000 was given to the John Tung Foundation in Taiwan for promoting the organization’s “2013 Rope Skipping for Healthy Lifestyles” initiative.
Founded in 1984, the John Tung Foundation’s guiding philosophy is to promote the “Respect for Life”, and its main objective is the promotion of “Health for All” for the people in Taiwan. Over two decades, the John Tung Foundation has become one of the most important organizations dedicated to public welfare in Taiwan.

Borders, chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation and vice president of Global Community Connections for The Coca-Cola Company. “These organizations are creating the type of change needed to improve people’s lives, build sustainable communities and enhance our environment for future generations.”
